It’s my year

Last year was tough, for many reasons. I am going to leave the details for another day. But starting this year on this thought has already been amazing. That’s why I wanted to write today, to share the same with you.

5.1.2025

Last year was tough, for many reasons. I am going to leave the details for another day. But starting this year on this thought has already been amazing. That’s why I wanted to write today, to share the same with you.

It’s my year

I am in Nashik for the Nashik MahaMarathon. Starting the New Year on an energetic note, this sure promises to be a wonderful year. Actually, I know it’s going to be an awesome year. A budding astrologer (my aunt) told me. I loved this energy she has infused into my mind, now I already believe 2025 is my year.

My husband laughed at me, he ended his bout with “I always tell you, it’s in the mind. Huh! Who listens to their husband?” But astrologers have some special skills, I trust that. Haha. Jokes apart, you are right Mr K, it’s all in the mind.

Last year was tough, for many reasons. I am going to leave the details for another day. But starting this year on this thought has already been amazing. That’s why I wanted to write today, to share the same with you. What are you telling one another? Are you spreading energy or anxiety? Causing people to worry or giving them strength to be positive?

Life is happening to all of us. We all have our tough moments, we battle with health, try our best to balance the family, deal with work pressures and still be nice to our children. Do you really need someone stressing you about possible diseases and problems that could happen? I honestly am wary of people who spread worry. I like to be around those who will motivate me, inspire me or simply make me laugh aloud.

Can you practise this? It’s actually simple. Talk to people about the interesting things you’ve done in your day, something you ate or a good movie. Share stories of what inspires you. When a situation happens, talk about your learnings, how you could have done things differently. Don’t read negative news and immediately assume it can happen to you, maybe use it as a cue to prep on topics you are unaware of. What I am asking you to do isn’t manifesting a problem in anyone’s life, including yours.

Let conversation with you be full of joy and life. Give someone hope. After all, it’s all in the mind. Let the messages you give one another and to your mind be of strength and possibilities.
