In today's era where technology is making our day to day work easier, better and quicker, couch, office chairs and responsibilities are taking our more time. Lifestyle modification with nutritional management has become a need for all age group.
The increased sedentary lifestyle and lack of physical activity are the root cause of maximum diseases conditions like Type2 Diabetes Mellitus, Hyperlipidemia, Hypertension, Insulin Resistance, PCOD, Thyroid Disorders, Obesity, Arthritis, Cancer, etc.
Averagely all of us sleep anywhere between 5-8 hrs, sleep is our resting phase (resting metabolism) where body performs all recovery of day to day physical as well as metabolic activity, but if we were physically inactive throughout the day coupled up with poor nutrition, mental exertion (stress) then our basal metabolism slows down and we wake up next morning with tiredness, muscle stiffness and lethargy which further results in slower bowel evacuation.
The common symptoms of poor digestion are bloating, gases, acidity, constipation, migraine, irritable behavior, white thick layer on the tongue and bad breath.
Drink 1-2 glass water as soon as you wake up. Drink water 30-40 minutes before breakfast, lunch and dinner and 60-75 minutes post meals.
Start your day with any seasonal fruit or veg smoothie instead of tea/coffee/milk.
Use Kacchi ghani oil, Sendhav Salt, Brown Sugar/Jaggery instead of Refined.
Once a week try to detoxify your body with fasting and eating only fruits, vegetables /fruit smoothies or juices, coconut water, kokum, lemon water, fruit or vegetable infused water.
30 min of each, Meditation and Breathing Techniques (Anulomvilom, Kapalbhati)
Do some physical activity for 45-60 min at least 4-5 times a week (walk, jog, gym, aerobics, sport, yoga)
Eat - Drink - Sleep - Exercise Mindfully...
