Waiting to be found

The power of fear can take you to extents you didn't imagine yourself in. I realised this week when something is taken from you, it's not for the article lost that you grieve, it's the loss of trust.

The power of fear can take you to extents you didn't imagine yourself in. I realised this week when something is taken from you, it's not for the article lost that you grieve, it's the loss of trust.

Ever lost anything? Creates havoc in your mind. I have been penduluming between hope and dismay. Funny thing about losing a thing of value is its loss has the power to make you do things you would discourage others to do.

My desperation took me to psychics, Babas and Dargahs. I went from ghost treatments to tantric vidya. The power of fear can take you to extents you didn't imagine yourself in. I realised this week when something is taken from you, it's not for the article lost that you grieve, it's the loss of trust. The feeling that your trust was betrayed, your space was violated leaves you scarred.

I am finding it rather hard to find myself. On crossroads of being on guard and being myself. I know time will heal all wounds. I know my most valuable asset – my family – is with me. But I also know I need time to find my balance again.

As the events unfolded, I noticed my children. Constantly giving me hope and strength, how intuitive they were to put the finger on the problem. I also saw my pain was causing them pain. Hence, I paused. We do that for our children, sometimes we choose to feel differently so they can remain unaffected. I made a conscious choice for my young. I've parked my worries and infused reasonable hope. I may have lost a few things but few are waiting to be found.

In the meantime, I am counting my blessings in having the most wonderful family that stands by me and great friends that hold me, making each new challenge a simple problem.
